Waterside Chat w/Linda Behnken

Join us for an online discussion with Linda Behnken on January 21st, at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT, the first episode of the Network’s new livestream series, Waterside Chat. Linda will talk with the Network’s Tom Sadler about challenges facing small commercial fishermen in Alaska and around the country.

Register for the free Waterside Chat today.

Waterside Chat connects people who depend on healthy oceans and fisheries with the issues that directly affect them and their communities. The Network’s Deputy Director Tom Sadler will talk one-on-one with different guests each episode about current ocean policy and fisheries management topics, engaging in genuine and thoughtful conversations about what policy decisions mean for people’s livelihoods, communities, recreation, and coastal ways of life.

This month’s Waterside Chat guest, Linda Behnken, has fished the waters off Alaska her entire adult life. She is executive director of the Alaska Longline Fishermen’s Association and Co-Chair of the Marine Fish Conservation Network’s Policy Council. We’re looking forward to a great conversation!

Tickets are free, and the event will be recorded for later viewing. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions or comments. We’ll see you on January 21st.
